We are taking our 2.5 year old daughter on a Carnival cruise later this month. My husband’s whole family is going so it’s kind of a mini family reunion trip. It will be our first cruise with her and I am just a tad nervous about how this will go. lol Anyone have any advice, tips or tricks for taking a toddler on a cruise?

We went on one in December! I think cruises are the best vacations when you have young kids since you can just go up to your room to relax/let them nap whenever they need to. My son loved the pool and enjoyed just walking around. The buffet was awesome too. We didn’t even bring any toys or anything for him.

I hope it’s fun for you! I dislike cruises and went on one when my son was 14m and I didn’t like it. There wasn’t a lot to do for them and I felt trapped and didn’t like the food other than the burgers by the pool.

I took my daughter with 10 months she did fantastic and it was so much fun advice if you a have a routine forget about the routine go with the flow of your toddler it will make vacations easier
