Every 3 months we organise a senior team offsite to:1. 🔎 visit our estate2. 👩🏫 work on our development3. 📈 review our current performance and plan our future4. 😄 connect as a team and have some fun Last week we spent 2.5 valuable days in Gloucester.So many highlights including inspecting our quality D48s and D6s in Gloucester, reviewing our progress in 2024, visiting our MiXR venues in Cheltenham, working at the The Trussell Trust food bank with Rhi Hopkins, watching the England semi-final in a wedding venue and working with the incredible Lara Milward who coached us on teamwork, leadership and how to look after ourselves!Thank you Matthew Dearden, James Baker, Darren Mckay, Jacqui Carreau, Sarah Coia, MBA Assoc. Thanks to Grace Valentine Stanton and our Alight Media Social Team we created a brand new initiative for 2024 'Together We Give' where we offer every team the opportunity to support a chosen local charity.As a senior team we picked the Gloucester Food Bank supported by the The Trussell Trust.Thank you so much to Rhian Hopkins and her incredible team of volunteers for giving us the tour, sharing the remarkable work you do in your local community and letting us spend the day helping sort and pack food parcels.The Food Bank is an emergency service for 1000s of families across the Gloucester area and the work Rhian and her team do truly makes a difference.If you want to donate or support in any way please go to gloucester.foodbank.org.uk or look out for any food bank bins at your local supermarket.#togetherwegive #positivelydifferent

On Thursday we brought our whole company together for our annual summit and asked Kylie Grimes MBE PLY to join us as our guest speaker. Our theme for the day was Aspire and hearing Kylie's experiences definitely inspired and motivated the whole team. Her incredible story made everyone at Alight Media laugh and cry and herpositive energy and drive to achieve the very best was infectious.She's totally captivating to listen to, speaking openly and honestly about her experiences.We are delighted to continue to work with Kylie and the charities she supports in the future.If any of you ever want to inspire your teams, I cannot recommend Kylie strong enough.
